


Bishop Darryl K. Walton was born on December 13 to Walter Lee and Dorothy Marie Walton. He has two sisters Deitra and Zel Walton, and one brother Rev. Zal Walton. His father was deceased at the age of 25, when Bishop Walton was 5 years old, leaving his mother to raise four children. As a native of Neptune, N.J. he attended and graduated from the Neptune school system. He is the husband of one wife, Pastor Lady Kesha Walton, and the proud father of seven children; Jaqueece, Ziikeeya, Deja, Darryl, Ariel, Demetrius, and Darius.
Bishop Walton was raised at Union Baptist Church under the Pastorate of the late Rev. Arthur McGee, Jr. He served in many capacities; usher, choir member, Jr. Missionary, Sunday school teacher, bass guitarist and church organist. In November 1997, Bishop Walton was licensed as a minister to preach the Gospel. Bishop Walton joined Greater Emanuel Temple Pentecostal Church of Neptune, N.J. under the pastorate of the late Bishop Carolyn A. Webb. In 2001 he was ordained as an Elder under New Dimensions World Wide Ministries. Shortly after his ordination to Elder, God continued to bless and elevated him to Assistant Pastor of Greater Emanuel Temple Pentecostal Church. As a faithful Assistant Pastor, Elder and member he served in many capacities. Bishop Walton can be found serving and learning in the house of God.
Bishop Walton has attended the Christian Institution of Divinity Studies while attending G.E.T. In addition he has attended and graduated from The Concord School of Hair Design as a licensed cosmetologist. Pastor Walton is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology with Liberty University of Lynchburg, Va.
Bishop Walton is now the Pastor and Founder of Emmanuel Apostolic Temple, which was established May 8, 2010. And on July 31, 2010 he was officially consecrated into the office of Pastor by the late Bishop Carolyn A. Webb, Presiding Prelate of New Dimensions World Wide Ministries. On September 30, 2011 Emmanuel Apostolic Temple officially became apart of Covenant Kingdom Ministries, CKMI under the Presiding prelate of Bishop Charles W. Harris. Currently he serves as Superintendent of Midstate Southern District , CKMI. Bishop Walton established along with Pastor Walton Wounded But Blessed Ministries and recently launched J.A.B.E.Z. (Justified Anointed Brothers Exemplifying Zeal).
His favorite scripture is Psalms 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the council of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law doth he meditate day and night.” His desire is to please God and to be an example in these last days.
